Vistra’s corporate headquarters, in Irving, Texas, has earned the Environmental Protection Agency’s prestigious 2021 Energy Star certification. Vistra has earned the honor each year for more than a decade.

This certification is a national symbol for superior energy efficiency and environmental protection. On average, Energy Star-certified buildings and plants use 35 percent less energy, cause 35 percent fewer greenhouse gas emissions, and are less expensive to operate than similar buildings.

Each year, Vistra’s facilities team ensures energy-efficient practices are incorporated into building management programs, including utilizing occupancy sensors and LED lighting and optimizing building automation systems.

“We’re committed to ensuring that our facilities exemplify environmental stewardship,” said Bob Keith, Vistra’s senior director of facility and real estate services. “We strive for continuous improvement in our energy management and sustainability practices.”
