Dynegy’s performance in the ERCG study marks the first time a single supplier claimed all three top excellence awards, the highest honor based on the data generated from more than 160 participating firms. Dynegy powers homes and businesses throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest.

Additionally, Vistra’s flagship retail brand, TXU Energy, made a strong showing in the ABC study, winning an excellence award for price competitiveness. The survey also showed that TXU Energy, which is the #1 choice for electricity in Texas, provided leading operational experience to ABCs in the categories of account manager, customer experience, and pass-through charges.

Since 2014, ERCG has conducted an annual study on the ABC market. In the 2020 study, 160 ABC firms responded, representing an estimated 76% of sales volume conducted through third party intermediaries. TXU Energy and Dynegy are ranked among 42 total supplier brands in the 2020 study.
