Where Partnership Takes Root

When the right partners come together, good things take root.

This spring, Vistra teamed up with Burns & McDonnell and Texas Trees Foundation to plant 100 trees along the walking trail at Dallas College Eastfield Campus, adding new green space and long-term benefits for students and the surrounding community.

The moment builds on more than two decades of progress. Since 2002, Vistra has partnered with cities, schools, and nonprofits to plant nearly 300,000 trees through its Trees for Growth program, delivering environmental and health benefits valued at nearly $40 million annually over the life of the trees.

But this event also marked something new.

It served as the first pilot of Vistra’s supplier-engaged tree planting program, designed to expand impact by working alongside the companies we rely on every day. The idea is simple: as we strengthen our supply chain, we also strengthen the communities around us.

Launching with Burns & McDonnell and the Texas Trees Foundation reflects a shared commitment to sustainability, collaboration, and long-term impact. It’s a clear example of what partnership can look like when values align and action follows.

Because when strong partners come together, the impact goes further.
